Cozy Minky

Cozy Minky is exactly what its name suggests: a small Vernal shop where minky is the main event, in more varieties than you’d expect from a town this size. There’s cotton and flannel by the yard as well, so it isn’t a one-note stop.

The other thing they do is sell finished blankets, running from baby sizes up to adult XL. That’s genuinely useful if you want the result without the project — a gift for someone, or a blanket for a cot when there simply isn’t time to make one.

What reviewers write about most is Jennifer, who runs it. The recurring note is that she makes sure everyone feels welcome and will go to real lengths to track down the fabric you’re after. In a town the size of Vernal, that sort of shop matters more than it would on the Wasatch Front.

Plan around the hours: open weekdays only, ten until five, closed Saturday and Sunday. That catches people out, so don’t drive over on a weekend.
