A juried show of quilts from across the state, and by some distance the longest-running quilting event in Utah — the 2026 edition was the 52nd.

Southwest Quilt & Fiber Art Festival

Fourteen local guilds combine forces for a southern Utah festival with exhibits and hands-on classes.

July Quilt Fair

Utah Quilt Guild Annual Meeting
The statewide guild's yearly gathering, built around a judged quilt show, a merchants' mall, and classes from local and visiting teachers.

The one to see if you only see one
The Annual Utah Quilt Show at the Springville Museum of Art has been running since the early 1970s — the 2026 edition was the fifty-second — which makes it one of the longest-running quilt shows anywhere in the country. It's juried, it's free to visit, and it hangs for over two months rather than a weekend, so there's no rush to catch it.
It's put on by the museum together with the Utah Valley Quilt Guild, with support from Corn Wagon Quilt Co. just down the road — which tells you something about how tightly the shops, guilds and institutions here are wound together.
Shop hops
The Utah Shop Hop is a block trail across participating shops: you collect as you go, and there are prizes. Practically speaking it's the best excuse in the calendar to drive somewhere you've never been — most people who do one end up with a new favorite shop two counties over.
If you're planning a route, the county pages are the quickest way to see what's clustered near what. Sandy has two shops a short walk apart on Main Street, and St. George has five within a few minutes of each other.
Guild shows
Beyond the big fixtures, individual guilds run their own shows and fairs — the Utah Valley guild's July fair in a Wallsburg barn, the Delta guild's snow goose show, and others that never get advertised much beyond a Facebook group. The guild list is the best starting point.
