Fabric stores in Payson, Utah

Payson sits at the southern end of Utah County, which makes Frames & Sew Forth on South Main the convenient option for Payson, Salem, Spanish Fork and Santaquin — all of which are otherwise a drive north.

The shop combines custom framing with sewing and quilting supplies, which makes more sense than it first sounds: both are things people bring finished work to, and a quilt often ends up on a wall.

Check before you go. Older listings show short and slightly irregular hours, closing as early as three on some days. We haven’t confirmed the current pattern, so this is a shop to phone rather than drop in on.

Making a day of it

The Nebo Loop scenic byway starts at Payson and climbs into the mountains — one of the best fall drives in Utah, and an easy thing to build a day around.
