My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shoppe started in Logan in 2011 and opened this Sandy location in 2018, and the family that runs it has kept the same feeling in both: the phrase that comes up over and over in reviews is how quickly you stop feeling like a stranger.

The Sandy shop leans toward being a sewing machine and education center, so it’s a good place to come with questions about machines rather than just fabric. That said, the fabric side has grown considerably through a partnership with Elaine’s Quilt Block, and there are rows of it now, along with a strong Kimberbell selection for anyone working through those patterns.

Staff are quick to suggest something that will make your project turn out better rather than simply ringing you up, and there’s a real community around the classes.
