Kaysville sits in the middle of Davis County, and K & H Quilt Shoppe on West 200 North is the fabric anchor for a good stretch of it — convenient for Farmington, Fruit Heights and much of Layton.
What sets the shop apart is experience. The owners have well over fifty years of sewing between them, and they carry both quilting and clothing patterns, which is a wider remit than most Utah quilt shops attempt. It’s a regular Utah Shop Hop participant.
One thing to get right: they are closed on Mondays. Several directories still show older Monday-to-Friday hours. The current pattern is Tuesday through Saturday, ten until five.
Kaysville lost its other craft shop when Bennion Crafts closed in 2022 after seventy-one years in the family — worth knowing if you remember it and were planning to call in.
