About Fabric Center
The Fabric Center on Redwood Road is the workhorse of the West Jordan shops — a large, straightforward fabric store rather than a boutique, and useful precisely for that.
Its best feature is the opening hours. Most Utah fabric shops shut at five or six, which is a problem if you work a normal day and discover at seven in the evening that you’re half a yard short. The Fabric Center runs until seven, Monday through Saturday, and that alone earns it a place in your phone. It’s also associated with Minky Corner, so the minky selection here is deeper than most.
This is the shop for volume and practicality rather than the curated, unusual find — for that, Pine Needles at Gardner Village is a few minutes away and pulls in the opposite direction. Between the two, plus The Grace Company for machines and frames, West Jordan covers a lot of ground in a small area.
